Founder of The Sigmund Project, Alan Elliott Merschen said, βWe are encouraged by what this preliminary study has revealed. Entrepreneurs are primarily working in teams which we know leads to better results than going it alone. The submissions from over 50 countries are in line with Sigmundβs global mandate. We are extremely pleased to see the ability and desire to collaborate with other members of the SigmundVerse. None of this could be achieved without the 8,500+ tourism professionals who have joined our collective. We are thankful for their openness to collaborate for a better tomorrow. For anyone interested in helping entrepreneurs in travel take their ideas to the next level, we invite you to browse the OPEN Β· SOURCE platform and see how you can lend your expertise. Letβs see whatβs possible.β
Prioritizing business ideas that have a triple bottom line, Sigmund is also guided by the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals and encourages its entrepreneurs to align their business with these important indicators. It's always in search of the next socially minded, environmentally conscious, and fiscally sound idea to transform tourism. Sigmund believes entrepreneurs like these are the future of travel and tourism. By offering a helping hand, they are unlocking the potential of the global tourism industry in their own (albeit small) yet mighty way.
