STAY (Sustainable Tourism Assisting Youth) creates a unique tourism experience that connects travelers with local communities and empowers marginalized youth who might otherwise leave their home areas.

We need to connect with diverse communities and individuals interested in joining our movement. Their thoughts and expertise within the industry can help make our vision a reality and boost the growth of STAY by connecting us with opportunities in the tourism industry.
+ What is the most immediate or most pressing challenge you're facing right now?
We face limitations in navigating sustainability plans and strategies for STAY.
+ What is it about your idea that makes you feel good?
Collaboration and knowledge-sharing experiences with diverse communities and individuals.
+ What makes your idea innovative? Why has no one ever done it before?
Our innovation comes from intersecting the empowerment center (Kiira Innovation Academy) with STAY, directly benefiting the youth through skills and experience gained from tourism.
+ Who will benefit the most from your idea?
The youth and social organizations that empower them.

People: STAY supports the youth by empowering them through training and knowledge-sharing. Tourists contribute through volunteering, workshops, and even by directly joining the host organization’s activities.
Planet: We aim to create sustainable tourism experiences that promote community development while fostering respect for local environments and cultures.
Profit: The contributions travelers make for their stay go directly to the host organization, which helps fund more operational activities and supports local development.
