+ In one sentence, tell us about your idea.

To revive a lost cuisine based on a mythological story and create products for visiting tourists to that destination which will bring benefit to local self-help women from the grassroots community.

+ Describe your ideal collaborative partner or partners.

To support in technical know-how to make cheese, ice cream, yogurt, etc., from buffalo milk with proper assistance from production to packaging and branding.

+ What is the most immediate or most pressing challenge you're facing right now?

Knowledge about preparing project reports, procuring technology, packaging, and marketing.

+ What is it about your idea that makes you feel good?

Because it is based on a mythological story and such an initiative can revive a unique cuisine and at the same time bring benefits to the local community and certainly it will add an extra experience for the visiting tourists to that destination as they can enjoy the local dairy product with stories associated.

+ What makes your idea innovative? Why has no one ever done it before?

Because no one has done this before to include tourism or making tourists the major buyers.

+ Who will benefit the most from your idea?

Local buffalo farmers, self-help group women from the village, and the tourists.

+ At Sigmund, we are interested in ideas at the intersection of People, Planet, and Profit. How does your idea support these three categories?

People: It aims to bring benefits to the local buffalo farmers who are now just selling their milk at a low cost. This project will add value to their product and, in turn, they will earn more.

Planet: It does not add any polluting agent as it is a small-scale dairy unit at a remote destination which can be operated without any emissions or discharge of waste. Also, we shall not use any plastic for packaging. Apart from this, a part of the profit can be used for environmental projects like plantation or environmental education at the local schools.

Profit: The majority of the profit goes to the community and sustainability.
