Today The Sigmund Project announces its partnership with TAMS (Travel and Meeting Society). In the spirit of collaboration, these two entities will work together through their networks and programs to promote innovation within corporate travelβ€”and beyond.

β€œThis partnership between TAMS and The Sigmund Project will improve our mutual missions of advancing the global tourism industry. Opportunities in innovation abound within the corporate travel sector. Now there is a vehicle to help TAMS members share their ideas with a larger audience and partner with potential collaborators from around the world through our platform.” said The Sigmund Project founder, Alan Elliott Merschen.

Announcing the partnership, TAMS Chairperson, Jennifer Steinke stated, β€œWe’ve found a DNA match with The Sigmund Project and look forward to bringing more fresh ideas and creative collaborations to the corporate travel sector.”

Co-Founder of the TAMS Incubator, Hansini Sharma, further commented that β€œthe Sigmund Project embodies the same values on which the TAMS Incubator was foundedβ€”to support and encourage innovation in the tourism, travel, and hospitality space. We look forward to seeing fresh ideas and unique innovations, particularly via early-stage travel startups. We anticipate a great partnership between our TAMS’s Incubator and Sigmund’s OPEN Β· SOURCE idea platform, where our cohort members will be able to access and leverage Sigmund’s community of global tourism entrepreneurs.”

In addition to promoting TAMS Incubator Program, The Sigmund Project will highlight important industry tools and resources created by TAMS including their Sustainability Handbook, Travel Tech Navigator, Technology Assessment Tool, and Travel Evaluator, along with educational webinars, white papers designed to solve corporate travel industry challenges and drive innovation.

Sigmund’s resources and programs will be shared with TAMS’ 2,500+ members from across all sectors of corporate travel, while TAMS will gain exposure to the 6,000+ members from around the globe that comprise The Sigmund Collective. Together they will further advance their mutual missions to connect entrepreneurs in travel, tourism, and hospitality with the mentors, advice, tools, and support they need to take their idea to the next level.
