MAY 10 DEADLINE - LaVista Park Master Plan
The City of Brookhaven seeks proposals for consulting services to craft a Site-Specific Park Plan tailored to LaVista Park.
Despite the completion and adoption of the Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan (CPRMP) in 2014, which addressed various park amenities and enhancements, LaVista Park, annexed into the city in 2019, warrants specific attention.
The envisioned plan will encompass both active and passive recreational opportunities, addressing issues like lighting, parking, ADA accessibility, and overall park enhancements.
Moreover, the project will integrate improvements to the stormwater management system in the vicinity.
By engaging consultants, the city aims to create a comprehensive blueprint that maximizes the potential of LaVista Park, aligning it with the broader vision outlined in the CPRMP while considering its unique characteristics and recent integration into Brookhaven's jurisdiction.
