Handmade Vegan Soap for hotels, resorts, and cruise ships that is made in Hawaii.
+ My ideal collaborative partner or partners would be...?
I am looking for people who have launched their own business that is a physical product and has pitched their product to a business in the hospitality and tourism industry. I am looking for someone who could help coach me to be ready to pitch my products to a hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
+ What is it about your idea that makes you feel good?
I started this business because during this pandemic, my father was constantly washing his hands with cheap store bought soaps. His hands started to peel and rash. I thought that I could help my father by making homemade vegan soaps to help his hands stay in a healthy condition. I feel that Bliss Soaps Hawaii can help more people like my father to help prevent hand exposure to the many chemicals in store bought soap.
+ What makes your idea innovative? Why has no one ever done it before?
There are many people in the world who do make handmade soap. However, I take a creative spin on it and make many of my soaps into artistic designs to brighten up any room. My soap is vegan and made through the cold process soaping method. Within the Island of Hawaii, I have not seen another cold process soap maker use the creative and artistic take on soap like mine.
+ Who will benefit the most from your idea?
I believe the people that will benefit the most from my idea are my target market audience. This is middle aged women. Women like to look for new ways to take care of their skin. Recently, many women have been relying on products that have more and more chemicals to take care of their skin. However, cold process soaps have many properties that exclude the use of these chemicals.

My idea is to service people with their normal skin health concerns. We also service the planet due to minimal waste and have a line of zero waste soaps. We try to keep our packaging as recyclable and compostable as to what we can afford. For profit, we try to keep our soap prices at the same price range of our national competitors.
