… locals that are willing to support our project with their products, like small farmer shops, or locals who want to contribute to the creation of the network, either financially or phyiscally. But this includes also directly contributing labour, as for instance architects planning tiny houses, or IT-students helping with the development of the app. Moreover, we are looking for experts that have experience in launching a business.

In regards to finding the right collaborator, what is the most immediate or most pressing challenge you're facing right now?

In the first instance, we need to create a network of unique tiny houses. At Sigmund, we are interested in ideas at the intersection of People, Planet, and Profit. How does your idea support these three categories?

People: we give locals the possibility to collaborate with us and we empower local businesses as they are a crucial component in our project. All products and services of our local partners are listed and promoted in our app. Planet: we try to build ecofriendly tiny houses and promote sustainable travel methods. Aviation is not a part of our product. Moreover, we want to ensure that a lot of sites are accessible by public transport. Profit: the revenue and benefit for each stakeholder is based on their own input, effort and support. The profit is mostly provided directly by the guests as they consume their services and products (e.g. eat at a restaurant, attend an event, visit an attraction). Architects and labors are paid fairly and we support their needs and expectations. The Arthur-team is receiving the revenue from the bookings of the roadtrips. Prices are scaled depending on the duration of the stay and the amount of visited tiny houses. The service fee for the app is included.
