We have an idea for saving energy in the hotel industry, which is to install solar panel on building's glasses and roofs.

My ideal collaborative partner or partners would be somebody whose is familiar with hotel operations and would be able to understand the challenges to make it work.
In regards to finding the right collaborator, what is the most immediate or most pressing challenge you're facing right now?
The most pressing challenge that we are facing at the moment is the ability to convince the hotel operators to recognize the future benefits rather than the upfront cost.
BONUS QUESTION: What is it about your idea that makes you feel good?
We recognize that hotels are operating 24 hours a day, which will definitely total a tremendous amount of electricity usage. By following this idea, we could save a lot of energy and be able to promote the use of green energy.
What makes your idea innovative? Why has no one ever done it before?
We think that our idea is innovative because not many hotels are able to pull off something like this, especially in Vancouver. We believe that the reasons behind the slow growth was due to the cost upfront as well as the weather of certain location, for instance, Vancouver is famous for rain, which is a challenge for creating solar power. Because of that, we think that by introduce this idea, people would be more encourage to try and overcome the challenge.

Who will benefit the most from your idea?
We believe that by implementing this idea, in the long run, the hotel operators would be profiting off this idea. Especially in the summer, when there are a lot of sunlight, the hotel's electricity bill will be cut significantly. In a bigger scale, we believe humanity would be able to slow down the destruction of Earth.

We figure that through this idea, it will support all those three categories. Firstly, the people would be benefit from the decrease in energy generating by fossil fuel, which also help heal the planet. Then, the profitability of the hotel industry would also increase as their energy bill will get a significant discount by generating their own energy in-house.
