MAY 24 DEADLINE - Design, Production and Printing for Catalina Island

Catalina Island Tourism Authority (CITA) seeks proposals for design, production, and printing of 2025 & 2026 publications: Official Catalina Island Visitors Guide and Visitors Map rack brochure.

  • Vendors should submit proposals for both publications.

  • Visitors Guide Design and Production:

    • Design including cover, headings, fonts, colors, layout, and graphics.

    • Compilation of advertising, editorial, photography, listings, into layouts.

  • Visitors Guide Content:

    • Refresh of existing content, not complete redesign.

    • Photography essential; additional sourcing required.

  • Visitors Guide Printing and Distribution:

    • Production begins August 2024, publication in January 2025.

    • 55,000 to 75,000 copies, mailed to visitors.

    • Printing in 4 colors, high quality.

    • Binding, delivery to fulfillment provider in Tustin, CA.

  • Visitors Map Design and Production:

    • Design of rack brochure including cover, City of Avalon Map, Catalina Island Map.

    • Approval required for periodic and final design.

    • Typesetting of member listings, map placements, and coordinates.
