The Economic Development Authority of Jones County (EDA) seeks an advertising and public relations agency to promote Jones County as a premier travel destination, enhancing its tourism industry recovery post-COVID-19.

  • Objective: Develop and execute advertising and PR strategies for "Visit Laurel & Jones County" from contract execution through December 31, 2026, funded by ARPA.

  • Budget: $215,000 for the contract period.

  • Services Required:

    • Develop integrated marketing strategies.

    • Execute digital, print, and broadcast campaigns.

    • Establish media relationships and coordinate media visits.

    • Design and print marketing materials.

  • Deadlines:

    • RFQ available: June 14, 2024

    • Questions due: June 27, 2024, 5:00 p.m. CDT

    • Notice of Intent to Bid: June 28, 2024, 5:00 p.m. CDT

    • Proposals due: July 2, 2024, 12:00 p.m. CDT

    • Evaluation: By July 8, 2024

    • Interviews (if necessary): July 9, 2024

    • Contract negotiations: July 16, 2024

    • Work begins: July 29, 2024
