APR 22 DEADLINE - Governor's Tourism Conference in Nevada

The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs (DTCA), is seeking proposals for hosting services for the Governor’s Conference on Tourism in Las Vegas, Nevada.

  • One contract will be awarded for a term of approximately 6 months starting from July 10, 2024, to December 31, 2024.

  • Agency Background:

    • The Division of Tourism operates within the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs (NDTCA) to promote tourism within Nevada.

    • Travel Nevada, funded by lodging tax revenues, aims to increase statewide visitation for long-term sustainability.

  • Goals and Objectives:

    • Seeking proposals for hosting the 2024 Governor’s Conference on Tourism, bringing together tourism industry members.

    • Conference features general and breakout sessions, business-building opportunities, and an awards dinner.

    • Sponsors will be represented in a mini-tradeshow format.

  • Scope of Work:

    • Conference to be held over two days in November or December 2024, excluding weekends, with an estimated attendance of 250-300 delegates.

    • Room requirements include blocks for attendees and state employees at competitive rates, designated booking site, and special accommodations for VIPs.

    • Meeting room requirements include spaces for staff offices, registration, press, general sessions, breakout sessions, exhibitor area, welcome reception, and meals.
