Upiria is a bridge between travel professionals and travellers

  1. Tour and activity providers - to upload the unique tours and activities they are offering
  2. Hotels and accommodation units - to resell those tours and activities registered on the Upiria platform

+ What is the most immediate or most pressing challenge you're facing right now?

The only challenge is the time required to onboard the tour and activity providers

+ What is it about your idea that makes you feel good?

For us Upiria is a hobby that turned to work, it is an idea we stand by and this approach allowed helped us to attract people with the same believe.

Our aim is to become the number one travel experiences community where unforgettable memories are created.

+ What makes your idea innovative? Why has no one ever done it before?

Our key differentiator is our hybrid business model which combines on one hand the β€œmarketplace” approach similar to companies like AirBnB and Viator (see above) and the other hand the capabilities of a CRM (customer relationship management) platform.

This hybrid approach gives organisations the ability to adopt our platform to their current needs. Meaning that they can use it as a marketplace (and get charged a commission per transaction), a CRM platform (manage their potential customers, their communication and purchase history and marketing) or both.

Regardless of the size of the organisation, it needs both a marketplace and a CRM platform. Using bespoke solutions increases the cost and the admin work required to integrate the operations between the two.

Here is where our platform really excels. Its ability to operate in two worlds allows us to price it aggressively towards the competition and enter the market from a different perspective.

We are building a community which evolves around tours and activities. In this community we have tour and activity providers, hotels and accommodation units, travel agencies and travel bloggers. These groups will benefit from having an environment dedicated to the one thing the love the most: Offering travellers unforgettable experiences.

We provide consultation to tour and activity providers on how to make their travel products accessible. Planet - We are building a scoring model in our platform that will promote environmental friendly tours and activities, providers and resellers who are willing to join our cause in creating a sustainable travel ecosystem Profit - Our whole business model as well as the platform is build in a way to encourage ambitious tour and activity providers to start their business.
