MICK'S IDEA: A New National Parks app

+ In one sentence, tell us about your idea.
I'm working on an app for National Parks that helps people seamlessly plan future trips, curate bucket lists of must-visit parks and places, and relive cherished memories from past trips, all within one intuitive platform. The community will share insider tips, secret gems, and make it easy to share their past trips with friends and family.
+ Describe your ideal collaborative partner or partners.
I have launched the app and am looking for people to help grow the app from zero to 100K, help build an ambassador network, and reach publications, bloggers, and influencers in the outdoor space - in a scrappy startup way. I have 3K app installs since launching in Jan with small niche marketing mostly through social media. I would be open to a business partner with a growth mindset.
+ What is the most immediate or most pressing challenge you're facing right now?
Growth, time/resources. I am the founder, product owner/designer/developer, doing everything and need a hand from a passionate knowledgeable person that knows the outdoor space that is comfortable moving fast.
+ What is it about your idea that makes you feel good?
So far, over 3.4K users have logged 7.5K park trips with 12.8K photos. Massive engagement so far.
+ What makes your idea innovative? Why has no one ever done it before?
National Park apps are simple websites with information that leave people with a lot of questions. The goal is to build a community that is the go-to place for park information from travellers like you, and also the place you plan, manage, and save all your park memories. With the advancements of AI, aspects of the app will bring information to you, let you know the best times to visit, what to see, and look for park updates and help you navigate reservation systems.

Information should come from a community of people that collectively share and help one another. I believe in a community approach. We want to connect our community with resources to plan trips, have the right gear, and enjoy the passion people have for parks. Our app will contain features only available to subscribers. National Parks have a lot to offer, but most people only scratch the surface of what they see, what they know, and how they can contribute. Education and awareness about the parks is important in the mission.
