InAfrica provides experiences and adventure activities for Southern Africa and strives to place the traveller and merchant/tour operator on the same platform which provides an end-to-end booking system.

We are looking for ways to: Increase market exposure for our product offering and obtain additional funding to grow and further develop the business

+ What is it about your idea that makes you feel good?

We have passion for travel and understand that there is no collective online booking platform for obtaining information and for booking adventure activities & experiences in Southern Africa. In particularly we feel good that our platform can uplift many small tour and activity operators and put them on the map.

+ What makes your idea innovative? Why has no one ever done it before?

Developing an online booking platform for obtaining information and for booking adventure activities & experiences is a massive undertaking and while most companies have concentrated on accommodation we have focused on activities and events. The primary challenge aside from creating the interactive platform is to onboard the suppliers of these activities and grow the brand awareness.

Many experiences and adventure activities are stand-alone and operated by Small-medium business persons. A traveller is not really able to fully appreciate what is available to do until you reach a destination and even then you are unsure of the quality of the experience that you will be getting.

InAfrica strives to bridge this gap and place the traveller and merchant/tour operator on the same platform which provides an end-to-end booking system.

Companies and individuals whom offer experiences and events in Southern Africa. Particularly the small operators whom don't have the budget and ability to promote themselves and their business, both nationally and globally.

We support these three categories in the following manner:

  • People: uplifting and promoting small operators and their staff, whom don't have the budget and ability to promote themselves and their business, both nationally and globally. Together with educating the consumer about Southern Africa.
  • Planet: utilising a digital platform to promote some amazing activities and adventures our planet offers, mostly in a sustainable environment. Creating an opportunity for people to better appreciate the planet (aspects of it and what it offers) -Profit: allowing small business the ability to generate a viable income and profit, by a collaborative approach.
