Directory and booking platform dedicated to Regional Australia

+ Describe your ideal collaborative partner or partners.

My ideal collaborative partner would be RTO's and LGA's where my idea would help support their goals of promoting their region's tours & attractions. I would be interested to learn if any government support is available.

+ What is the most immediate or most pressing challenge you're facing right now?

My most pressing challenge I have now is cashflow and manpower, I need a funding boost to put on a couple of others to help me in day to day runnings of the business.

+ What is it about your idea that makes you feel good?

My idea and plan has come from genuine experience and identifying a gap in the market through market research, I have completed a soft launch of BookitDoit and have gained some gold traction already.

+ What makes your idea innovative? Why has no one ever done it before?

Problem: The operators and regions: Online travel sites dominated by high cost (commission and memberships) platforms allowing only the bigger operators and tourism “honeypots” to be able to afford to be found and booked, leaving smaller operators and regions invisible online. Travelers and locals: aren’t finding ALL there is to see and do because of this.

Solution: Deliver an affordable marketing and booking solution for small business operators. Be the trusted go-to website for finding and booking all places to eat, play and stay off the beaten track. We offer more choice to the Australian domestic market bored with the current choices on offer by providing a variety of categories of travel experiences from the nature watchers to history buffs to a holiday away with the girls all searchable and bookable in the one place. One click purchased itineraries delivered via a digital tour guide.

Locals and travellers who are currently not able to find the hidden and authentic experiences online in between the tourist 'honeypots' of Australia

People: create a level playing field for tourism operators in regional areas that can't afford the high commission rates and marketing costs on the large foreign owned booking websites. Assist regional communities in getting their regions found and booked. Planet: Our focus is 'off the beaten track' experiences, getting people out of the cities while discovering and support regional communities. Profit: injecting much needed money into regional communities and while doing so all profits made my BookitDoit will stay in Australia
