Overview

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is seeking information from qualified vendors to develop a free, interactive, map-based mobile application (Android, iOS, and web) that allows the public to view all applicable recreational fishing regulations by location. The app must work offline, integrate with a centralized regulations database, and support AI-assisted plain-language queries. This is a Request for Information (RFI), not yet a formal RFP — Solicitation #0000039898. Submission requires: cover letter signed by authorized officer, vendor profile (max 5 pages), completed Attachment A (Vendor Questionnaire), completed Attachment B (RFI Response Checklist), and review of Exhibit 1 (Requirements).
