AUG 30 DEADLINE- Signage for Region in Pennsylvania
The Oil Region Alliance of Business, Industry & Tourism (ORA) seeks proposals for a Wayfinding Signage Plan for the Oil Region National Heritage Area (ORNHA), covering Venango County, Titusville, Hydetown, and Oil Creek Township in Crawford County, PA. The plan will guide the implementation of consistent and recognizable wayfinding signage but will not include installation. Key deadlines and project scope include:
Question Period ends: August 15, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.
Proposals Due: August 30, 2024, by 4:00 p.m.
Consultant Contract Period: October 1, 2024 – August 29, 2025
SCOPE
Identification of Signage Types: Determine the types of signage needed, such as gateways, vehicular, and pedestrian signs, and the rules and regulations for each area where signs are required.
Design of Signage: Create designs for the identified signage types to ensure uniformity and recognizability for visitors.
Implementation Guide: Provide ORA with a comprehensive guide on how and where to implement the signage across Venango County and the City of Titusville, Borough of Hydetown, and Oil Creek Township in Crawford County, PA.
Future Funding and Partnerships: After the plan’s completion, ORA will seek funding and partnerships for fabricating and installing the recommended signs.
