The City of Vacaville seeks a consultant to develop a comprehensive Community Engagement Strategy and Communications Plan to guide the city’s communications and engagement initiatives from 2025 to 2030.

• Goals: Enhance public dialogue, increase trust, improve transparency, and boost community pride. Key tasks include reviewing current communication gaps, developing strategies for engagement, and implementing a multilingual component.

• Key Tasks:

  • Conduct a communications audit

  • Gather input through interviews and surveys

  • Develop communication goals, strategies, and tactics

  • Create internal and external communication plans

  • Draft and finalize the comprehensive plan

  • Provide training and deliverable reports

  The Request for Proposal, originally issued May 21, 2024, is modified as set forth in this Addendum. The submittal deadline is extended to July 11, 2024, 5:00 PM PST.
