In one sentence, tell us about your idea.
I would like to change airport transfers in Israel into electricity based vehicles only.
Finish this sentence: My ideal collaborative partner or partners would be...
A transfer company willing to invest in 100% electric vehicles and join me in the effort to place charging stations at the airport and main hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
In regards to finding the right collaborator, what is the most immediate or most pressing challenge you're facing right now?
Purchasing electric vehicles that will be comfortable and large enough to provide for airport transfers including luggage.
BONUS QUESTION: What is it about your idea that makes you feel good?
Airport transfers create a lot of pollution that can be easily resolved, at least in Israel. There's only one international airport and 90% of tourists arrive directly to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, both are well within current electric vehicle range. It should be easy to provide charging stations since the starting and ending points are more or less the same for each ride.
What makes your idea innovative? Why has no one ever done it before?
The infrastructure for electric vehicles is still not the best in Israel. Probably transfer companies are not even thinking in that direction at the moment.
How far does your idea reach?
Local
Ideally, when would you launch this idea?
In a year
Who will benefit the most from your idea?
Airport visitors (less air pollution where transfers are waiting for their passengers), passengers who will enjoy a quiet and pollution-free ride, drivers who will not have to worry about putting gas in their cars - they just charge them while they wait for their passengers.
